The latter may have a smaller battery capacity, but during our video loop test, it yielded a solid 13 hours of battery life while the former has been tested in PCMark’s Battery benchmark and yielded 9 hours and 25 minutes battery life. It also has been observed that the PCMark battery test yields lower battery life and when tested with the J5 Prime, the benchmark crashes. In the end, we wouldn’t know which one has a longer battery life but we can assure the readers that both smartphones last long.

The Huawei Y5 2017 is priced at Php5,999 while the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime is priced at Php9,990.
