The Vivo Y69 has been around last September and has been available in the country since then. + Android 7.1.1 out-of-the-box
Vivo Y69

DISPLAY
The OPPO A83 has an upper hand with its larger screen size and higher screen aspect ratio. The Y69 is not bad, but, in terms of viewing experience, the former is the better choice when it comes to users who are fond of watching videos.
CPU AND GPU
We have tested both smartphones’ processors in the AnTuTu benchmarking application and the results are evident. The Helio P23 of the A83 yielded 67,496 while the Y69 only got 40,169. This means that the former is the better pick for a smartphone with better and faster performance. As for the gaming potential, both smartphones can run moderately heavy graphics with ease but the Mali-G71 can run heavy-graphics games better than the Mali-T860.
CAMERA
We can safely say that both smartphones are selfie-centric since the A83 has an AI beautification feature originally found in the OPPO F5 while the Y69 has a higher front camera resolution. Unfortunately, we have not taken sample shots on the latter, but users may want to check out what we got from the A83 here.
BATTERY
On paper, the A83 has a larger battery capacity than the Y69, however, we can deduce their battery life by looking at the display, CPU, OS, and battery capacity. The Helio P23 has a 16nm architecture which is more optimized than the 28nm architecture of the MT6750. By this, we can safely say that the A83 will last longer than the Y69.
PRICE
The OPPO A83 is priced at Php9,990 while the Vivo Y69 is priced at Php9,990 (see price listing here).
Overall, the OPPO A83 is the better pick in terms of display, CPU, GPU, and battery. Do you agree with our pick? Let us know your thought in the comments section below.
