Is Vooc VPN Pro scam?
In today’s digital age, having a trustworthy virtual private network (VPN) is essential to ensure online safety. While there are many well-known VPN providers, smaller developers are also offering their own app(s).
One such app is VoocVPN Pro, which may not be as well-known as others. However, a reader recently asked if it is safe to use, especially since it was recently on sale in the Google Play Store and was offered for free.

VoocVPN Pro is ‘probably’ safe if you don’t mind the ads

VoocVPN has a fairly satisfactory rating on the Google Play Store, with an average of 3.9 to 4.0 stars. There are fewer negative responses from users.
Therefore, this app seems to do a decent job as a VPN, with numerous servers and fast connectivity, as indicated by its reviews.
However, there is one caveat. Despite being a paid app, VoocVPN Pro contains ads. This is what some users have been complaining about, with a one-star review stating, “[It’s] supposed to be the pro version but I’m still seeing ads!”
The developer do reply and admits to needing revenue from ads. The app is listed as having “in-app purchases,” making it clear that the “Pro” version is just the base app with ads.
Interestingly, the app is not available on the Apple App Store, which made me more skeptical. VoocVPN does have a website, but it looks incomplete, with placeholder texts and photos looking like AI-generated on its ‘Meet the Team’ section.
VoocVPN Pro: Not recommendable
The unpolished website and the presence of ads in a paid app may be red flags for the legitimacy of VoocVPN Pro. Although it has received positive reviews, it’s important to exercise caution when clicking on ads within the app.
Personally, I would not recommend this software. However, if you’re not bothered by ads, you may find VoocVPN to be a decent option based on its reviews. Just remember to stay vigilant and avoid potentially malicious ads.
