Huawei Y6s vs Realme C3 – Which PHP 6k phone should you get?

If you’re looking for a sub PHP 6,000 phone, then you probably have had your eyes on the Huawei Y6s and Realme C3. Since different people value different aspects of a smartphone, we’ve broken down the two in terms of its display, performance, camera, and battery to help you decide.

Display

In terms of display, both devices have an HD+ IPS display. The main difference is in size, with the Huawei Y6s measuring 6.09 inches, while the Realme C3 sports a 6.5-inch display. This goes to personal preference – whether or not you’d rather have a bigger display for media consumption and gaming or a more compact phone for portability.

Performance

In terms of performance, the Realme C3 is almost twice as powerful as the Y6s thanks to its MediaTek Helio G70 chipset. However, the Huawei Y6s comes with twice as much internal storage. While both phones are expandable, apps launch quicker when they’re installed on the internal storage compared to starting from the SD card.

Camera

The Realme C3 is more versatile thanks to its portrait and macro cameras, while the Huawei Y6s only has a single rear camera. The front camera on the Huawei Y6s, however, comes with a higher resolution. In practice, though, both phone’s cameras are of comparable quality.  Check out our Huawei Y6s and Realme C3 review to compare for yourself.

Battery

The Realme C3 can last longer on a single charge, with its 5,000mAh battery lasting 26 hours and 19 minutes in our battery loop test. The 3,000mAh battery on the Huawei Y6s, on the other hand, only lasted 10 hours and 24 minutes.

Since both phones are priced at PHP 5,990, the Realme C3 is the better buy. It has better performance, more cameras, and a longer-lasting battery. That being said, if you’re looking for a compact phone with at least 64GB of internal storage, then the Y6s would be the better choice.
