How to set Night Light in Windows 10 and 11

What we see during day time and what most of the displays are emitting is blue light. Blue lights make us stay awake and this could be difficult during the night when we’re about to sleep. Good thing many devices now have Night Mode or Night Light setting to adjust the color of the display from blue to a warmer color which is easier on our eyes.

Here’s a way to turn on or schedule automatically Night Light or Night Mode

Windows 11

  1. Select the Start button, and search for Settings.
  2. Click System and then hit the Display option.
  3. You’ll see the Night Light option right away, just underneath the Brightness section.
  4. You can now toggle to turn it on for the Schedule night light.
  5. To see more options, click the arrow ‘>’ and it’ll give options like Sunset to sunrise, Set hours or enter custom times for the night light to turn on and off.

If the night light toggle is grayed out, it means you’ll need to update first your drivers.
